Upon evaluating the speaker housing designs and shapes in the current market I have come to the opinion that the most popular type of speaker is Retro in style.
With the sudden upsurge in recent years in 60s/70s fashions and styles, its more economically viable to attempt to tap into the current trends which are in my opinion, a modern twist on 60s and 70s designs. Hence I have come to the realisation that this is the route in which I wish to design and manufacture.
The inspiration for my final design has without doubt stemmed from that of the lime green speaker on the upper left corner of the collage.
