The main aspect of the design of this speaker is to integrate into the retro feel which is so popular at the moment while also incorporating a sense of quality and warmth in the speaker. In doing so I wish to make the speakers more attractive to all types of hotel rooms and not just the retro themed rooms.
As you can see from the pictures above and below curved lines provide retro feel, while neutral finishes such as whites, creams and wooden fixtures and fittings also provide a grand and welcoming feeling into the hotel rooms. Therefore I shall incorporates curvature and welcoming finishes into the design of the speakers.
